· Member of NASA's 2007 Phoenix Mars Lander science team.
· Has studied dust and climate issues for Phoenix Mars Lander, specifically how much dust the 12 descent engines will kick up and whether martian winds could interfere with efforts to deliver soil to the onboard mini-lab.
· Also is member of 2009 NASA MSL mission to Mars, with work similar to that of Phoenix project.
