U-M hosts forum: The state of Latinos in U.S. education

EVENT: Juan Sepúlveda, director of the White House Initiative On Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, will moderate a public forum at the University of Michigan.

Sepúlveda was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan on May 19. This presidentially mandated initiative seeks to engage Hispanic students, parents, families, organizations, and those working in or with the U.S. education system as active participants in improving the academic achievement of Hispanic Americans.
