Jan. 28, 2004 EVENT ANNOUNCEMENTAnti-hazing expert to speak at U-M Feb. 3DATE: Feb.3, 2004 EVENT: "Hazing: When Rites Become Wrongs," a presentation by Hank Nuwer, nationally recognized expert on hazing. Nuwer is the author of four books on hazing: "Broken Pledges,” "The Hazing Reader," "High School Hazing," and "Wrongs of Passage." He is in demand as a TV commentator whenever there is a serious hazing incident. Nuwer has appeared on ESPN, Court TV, CNN, Fox-TV, ABC 20/20, and the evening news on CBS, ABC and NBC. He has been interviewed by national media for stories on hazing, including Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, USA Today, the New York Times and U.S. News & World Report.
