Pediatrician at center of Flint water crisis to speak at U-M

EVENT: A Flint pediatrician who was among the first to sound the alarm over lead levels in children will visit the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, a graduate of the school, will give a brief talk and answer questions during the public event.

Hanna-Attisha’s talk, titled “Flint Drinking Water Crisis: Background and Next Steps,” is sponsored by the integrated health sciences core of the Michigan Center on Lifestage Environmental Exposures and Disease.
