ANN ARBOR—Faculty appointments, with tenure, approved by the University of Michigan Regents at their Oct. 15-16 meeting included:

James L.M. Ferrara, a faculty member at Harvard University, will be professor of internal medicine and of pediatrics and communicable diseases at U-M, effective Nov. 1.

Dale Ulrich, a faculty member at Indiana University, will be associate professor of kinesiology at U-M, effective Jan. 1, 1999.
