Regents meet Oct. 19-20

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan Board of Regents will begin its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Oct. 19 in the Harding Mott University Center at U-M-Flint. Agenda items for the meeting include the monthly “Michigan Greats” presentation and state budget requests for all three campuses.

Public comments will be heard at 4 p.m. University members and others
Earlier Oct. 19, U-M-Flint will hold a formal renaming ceremony for its Classroom and Office Building. The building will be named for David M. French, who, beginning in 1956, was the first and only dean and CEO of the Flint College of the University of Michigan, founding the institution that later became U-M-Flint.

The meeting continues at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 20 in the Regents’ Room, Fleming Administration Building on the Ann Arbor campus. Following opening remarks by President Lee C. Bollinger, the agenda includes a PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Report and Responses, the annual report on investments and regular agenda items.
