Visiting writers series continues with four March readings

ANN ARBOR—The University of Michigan’s visiting writers series continues with four speakers in March.

Linda Gregerson will read from her poetry at 5 p.m.
Russell Banks will give a lecture at 5 p.m. on March 19 at Rackham Auditorium, and he will read from his fiction at 7:30 p.m. March 20 at the Rackham Amphitheater. Banks is the author of 12 books of fiction, two of which he worked on to adapt into feature films: “The Sweet Hereafter” and “Affliction.” Both screenplays were nominated for Academy Awards. His awards include grants from the Guggenheim Foundation as well as a St. Lawrence Prize for fiction.

Chase Twichell will read from her poetry at 5 p.m. on
Les Murray will read from his poetry at 5 p.m.
