That philosophy drives the University of Michigan School of Information expoSItion, a showcase of master’s and doctoral student projects. The public
At the expoSItion, organized by student volunteers, students will show projects in library and information services, archives and records management, information economics, and human-computer interaction. The dual-purpose expoSItion draws students who wish to learn about the graduate-level academic program and employers who want to meet prospective interns and full- and part-time employees.

Joanna Kroll, career services coordinator at SI, says that employers like the expoSItion because it offers a “reverse job fair” atmosphere, with the employees exhibiting their skills. Employers enjoy being able to freely mingle with potential employees and ask questions in a relaxed environment.
