School of Information’s Digital Tool Kit returns May-August

ANN ARBOR—Registration is under way for the popular Digital Tool Kit professional development courses offered by the University of Michigan School of Information.

Nearly 30 one-, two-, and three-day courses are offered from May until August. “Whether you’re treading new ground in the digital age or are a seasoned professional, the Digital Tool Kit will stimulate your thinking and help you understand the nuts and bolts of the latest technical and professional skills,” says Sue Davidsen, DTK program director.

To introduce new students to the program, a free course is offered. “Introduction to Virtual Conferencing” will be taught
DTK courses cover such topics as Web design and usability, strategic marketing, the latest trends for information technology managers, and database design. Professionals who wish to gain practical knowledge and skills from teachers who are expert practitioners benefit from the courses. Continuing education units are available and certifications for completing special course groupings are available.
