U-M president to speak at women’s issues forum

EVENT: University of Michigan President Mary Sue Coleman will conduct her first President’s Advisory Commission on Women’s Issues forum. She will discuss the new report, “Women at the University of Michigan: A Statistical Report on the Status of Women Students, Faculty and Staff on the Ann Arbor Campus,” and will respond to questions by women’s constituency groups. The report tracks the progress of women in many areas over the past decade, including tenure, appointments to executive positions, and staff composition and compensation. The event is free and open to the public.
