David Cole to deliver lecture on academic and intellectual freedom

EVENT: The Davis, Markert, Nickerson Lecture on Academic and Intellectual Freedom, which began in 1991, will feature David Cole, a professor at Georgetown University Law Center and a National Public Radio commentator. He will discuss "Freedom and Terror: Sept. 11 and the 21st Century Challenge." The event is free and open to the public. Cole is a leading figure in the current national debate over the impact of the U.S. Patriot Act on First Amendment rights.
