Michigan Business School’s European Business Conference Jan. 30

DATE: 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Jan. 30, 2004

EVENT: The University of Michigan Business School’s annual European Business Conference, "Business in Europe and America: The Paradigms of Today and a Look Ahead," will provide a forum for business leaders and the academic community to network and explore international business issues. Keynote speakers include Jack McMaster, former CEO of KPNQwest, and Frank Hocke, vice president of gedas USA, a subsidiary of Volkswagen.

BACKGROUND: Leaders from business and academia will participate in a series of panel discussions, including governance and corporate responsibility, monetary and finance issues in Europe, enlarging the European Union and emerging markets in Eastern Europe.
