Merck CEO Raymond Gilmartin will speak about business ethics

DATE: 4:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 2004

EVENT: Raymond Gilmartin, chairman, president and CEO of pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., will discuss "Forging an Ethical Business Culture: A Practical Approach" as part of the Dean’s Speaker Series at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Gilmartin will address how ethical behavior is defined and what constitutes a strong ethical corporate culture. He will suggest practical ways to instill ethics as a company-wide foundation for moral behavior.

The event is free to the public.
